Dez Bryant Isn’t Worried About Future

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dez Bryant was released by the Cowboys over two months ago, but still remains unsigned. Despite not having a new team yet, Bryant doesn’t seem too worried about his future.

Bryant was offered a two-year deal by the Baltimore Ravens in April, but the 29-year-old receiver turned down the offer because he wants a one-year deal to prove he is still one of the best receivers in the game, and sign a long-term deal after that.

Last week, Bryant posted a job listing on Instagram, and was asked by a fan if he shouldn’t be spending his time looking for work instead.

Bryant wrote: “The last problem I have is finding a team. I’m in a world you will never understand.”

For someone without a team, Bryant seems really confident about his chances of finding a team before the season starts. Earlier this month, the three-time Pro Bowler said he was waiting for the “for the perfect fit, a winning organization and a team willing to do a one-year, prove-it deal.”

With the Green Bay Packers deciding to part ways with Jordy Nelson this offseason, Bryant’s former teammate, Jason Witten, who will work as an analyst on Monday Night Football this season, after announcing his retirement a couple of months ago, believes Bryant would be a great fit with the Packers.

Despite’s Witten’s belief that Bryant will be a good fit in Green Bay, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers quickly shot down the idea. Bryant’s former quarterback Dak Prescott told reporters he felt Bryant would make a good addition to the New Orleans Saints, but the Saints haven’t commented on adding the receiver to their team.

There are currently reports that the San Francisco 49ers could be interested in giving Bryant a shot this season, but the 49ers haven’t answered requests for comments about their interest in Bryant.
